The Ports

We felt that moving to a new house was a good time to graduate Porter from the crib to a big boy bed. So we bought one at good ol IKEA before we left Portland (they don't have one near us in Post Falls...sigh) and put it together in his new room. He loves it. Now the girls can actually sleep in a crib. And our friend gave us another crib that was also white (thanks Nicole!) so they each have a place to sleep.

The Bed. It's simple, but I like simple.

The happy big boy! But if you look closely you will see a boo boo on his lower lip. That happened the first night he slept in the bed when he fell out. He learned quickly because he hasn't fallen out since.

This is what the girls "gave" Porter when they came home from the hospital. Since we now have a backyard we actually have space to set it up. And, since we have an awesome bonus/play room over the garage we can even have it set up inside the house. How cool is that!

Yup, that is Porter breatfeeding his stuffed dog. He did that all on his own. Whoops.

How fun! I might have to stop reading your blog because I'm just becoming more and more jealous of the place you live!! That is an awesome house with an awesome yard! Your kids are going to have so much fun as they get older. Good job Porter on sleep in a big kid bed!

Love the breast feeding picture. Too funny!! And isn't it wonderful to be in a house after years of apartment living?
