Changing it up

This is our new Vitamix. A few months ago I had said here that we had bought a Blendtec instead of a Vitamix. We kept going back and forth, looking at reviews and videos on both to see which one we wanted. Then we went to Costco one day and they had a demo for the Blendtec so since it was right there we bought it. We were initially happy with it, then some things started to bug us. Another time we went to Costco they had the Vitamix so we watched the demo and asked questions, but stuck with our Blendtec. Well, the things that bugged us about the Blendtec were still there, like how they don't have that stick thing you can use to push things down, their slow button isn't really slow, and it would burn and get overheated when trying to make ice cream. It just seemed a little cheaper in quality. Then a few weeks ago we were at Costco, yet again (seriously, we go there every week), and they had the Vitamix again. We watched another demo, asked some more questions, then bought it. We brought it home, tried it out, and never looked back at the Blendtec. We returned the Blendtec to Costco (love their return policy) and are still diggin our Vitamix. It seems more durable, can make almond butter like nobody's business, whips up my morning shakes easier than the Blendtec, has more versatility in speed to easily mix up anything, and is just overall a delight to use. So I just had to post that we have switched over and are now happily Vitamix people. You should really try one :)
